Our Mission

The Mission of Hope Therapeutic Horsemanship Center is to improve the quality of life for children and adults with special needs by providing horsemanship experiences in a warm, safe and compassionate environment.

Vision For the Future

We give hope for the future through Equine experiences. As a 501c3 non-profit organization, we are dedicated to providing therapeutic horseback riding and activities for individuals with and without disabilities.

Why Equine-Assisted Therapy?

Equine-Assisted Therapy helps with a variety of physical, behavioral, and mental challenges as an alternative to the traditional clinical setting.  Because the gait of a horse is similar to the human stride, this particular therapy strengthens and supports the natural motion of the spine and pelvis.  Teams of instructors and volunteers work with the rider and horse to promote success, healing and a sense of dignity that can be experienced only through therapeutic horsemanship.

The Hope Therapeutic Horsemanship Center, Inc is a Certified Horsemanship Association accredited Home Office and all standards are based on Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.)
